A large opaque hemispherical dome sits above a tiered inner shade system that diffuses and directs light downward, minimising glare while maintaining a warm, focused pool of illumination. An integrated power button at the base of the stem keeps operation clean and intuitive, and a stepped finial at the crown completes the assembly with quiet precision.

The design draws clearly from mid-century modern references — clean geometric forms, a slender cylindrical stem, and a flat circular weighted base — but it's the brass detailing that lifts it. A knurled brass ring connects stem to base, and a thin brass rim traces the shade's perimeter, creating a high-contrast pairing with the matte body. The Whitman is available in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass or Bronze & Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass, giving you a choice between a warmer all-brass palette and a richer, two-tone finish.

The Whitman carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is rated for dry indoor use only — appropriate for desk, table, and bedside placements away from moisture zones.
