The Visual Comfort Rousseau Medium Bracketed Sconce is designed by Kelly Wearstler as part of her Rousseau series — a collection that pairs minimalist silhouettes with refined material combinations. The sconce features a slim vertical light bar held away from an elongated oval backplate by two horizontal brackets, creating a clean, symmetrical profile that sits flush and architectural against the wall. The diffuser is integrated seamlessly into the metal rod, producing a uniform glow suited to hallways, living rooms, and dining spaces.

The brushed metal construction gives the fixture a fine, linear texture with a matte-satin sheen that minimises glare and sits comfortably within both contemporary and transitional interiors. The Rousseau sconce is available in Bronze and Antique-Burnished Brass.

This fixture is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior locations. It is not suitable for bathrooms or humid environments. Lamp and driver requirements should be confirmed at point of specification — your Lightsource Studio contact can assist. When installing multiple sconces along a hallway or dining room wall, a minimum spacing of 2.4–3 metres between fixtures is recommended for a balanced spread of light.
