For a fixture of this scale — 43.2 cm wide and nearly half a metre tall at the shade — the hanging height and ceiling clearance matter from the outset. The minimum custom height is 68.6 cm from ceiling to base, and the overall drop can reach 147.3 cm, so ceiling height should be confirmed before ordering. IP20 is the rating here, meaning the fixture is suitable for dry interior spaces only — not bathrooms or zones exposed to moisture. The E27 keyless socket (a standard lamp holder without a switch) accepts a bulb up to 60W.

The Visual Comfort Precision Pendant, designed by Kelly Wearstler, brings together two distinct material languages in a single cohesive silhouette. A cylindrical upper band of dense, circular perforations sits above a flared, bell-like metal skirt — together they create an architectural profile that feels industrial and classical at once. Below, a large hemispherical opal glass bowl acts as a diffuser, scattering light softly and widely to reduce glare across the room beneath. Chain-link details at the rod connection points add a moment of mechanical honesty to an otherwise streamlined stem.

The Precision pendant is available in two finishes: Bronze and Antique-Burnished Brass. Both carry a warm, rich tone that complements natural materials, aged timbers, and layered interior palettes. At 7.7 kg, this is a substantial fixture — ceiling structure and fixing points should be confirmed as adequate before installation.

The fixture uses an E27 keyless lampholder rated to 60W. Lamps are not included and should be selected to suit your preferred colour temperature and dimming setup — confirming compatibility with your dimmer switch before purchasing a lamp is always worth the two minutes it takes. The round ceiling canopy measures 11.4 cm in diameter.
