The Visual Comfort Pitch Cluster Pendant is a three-light ceiling fixture designed by Sean Lavin. Three cable-suspended globes descend from a circular matte black ceiling canopy, each housing a cylindrical black socket and a spherical clear glass globe with a frosted inner diffuser element — creating a dual-layer visual effect that softens the light source while preserving the transparency of the outer form. With a CRI of 90, it performs as well under scrutiny as it looks in a render.
The design is resolutely minimal: a monochromatic black-and-clear palette with clean metalwork throughout. The matte black metal canopy, sockets, and cables form a cohesive, industrial-influenced composition. The three globes cluster at a single ceiling point, making this an effective focal pendant for dining tables, kitchen islands, entrance halls, and open-plan living spaces where a singular overhead moment is called for.
The Pitch is designed for hardwired ceiling installation into a standard electrical box.
