FAQs

Does the Phoebe Stacked Table Lamp require a driver or transformer?

No. It uses a standard E27 lamp holder — the common screw-fit socket used in most European homes — wired directly to mains voltage via an in-line cable switch. No separate driver or transformer is needed.

Can I use a dimmable bulb with this lamp?

The lamp uses an E27 keyless holder with a line switch, so dimming depends on the bulb you choose. A dimmable LED with an E27 fitting will work if your wall circuit includes a compatible dimmer — check dimmer compatibility with your chosen LED bulb before purchasing.

Why does the glaze vary between lamps — is that normal?

Yes, and it's intentional. Reactive ceramic glazes respond differently during the firing process, so colour depth, mottling, and surface texture will vary between pieces. This is a characteristic of the material and part of what makes each lamp unique, not a defect.

Is the Phoebe suitable for a bathroom or outdoor use?

No. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it is designed for dry interior spaces only — living rooms, bedrooms, and home offices. It is not suitable for bathrooms, humid zones, or any outdoor setting.

What are the two finish options and how do they differ?

The lamp is available in Crystal Bronze and Antiqued White. Each finish interacts differently with the reactive ceramic glaze — Crystal Bronze reads warmer and more grounded, while Antiqued White is lighter and more textural. Because the glaze varies per piece, the exact appearance will differ slightly between individual lamps in either finish.
