The Visual Comfort Penz Cylindrical Wall Sconce is a design by AERIN (Aerin Lauder) from the Penz range. It combines an elongated frosted white glass cylinder with a solid metal band positioned off-centre along the shade's height — the upper section of glass is noticeably longer than the lower. The result is a quietly architectural form that reads as considered rather than decorative for its own sake. A circular metal backplate mounts flush to the wall and conceals the electrical connection. The installation is hardwired, meaning it connects directly to the mains — no plug, no cord.

The design aesthetic is minimalist and geometric, with the contrast between the warm or cool metal finish and the soft white glass providing the visual interest. Two finishes are available: Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel — each shifting the mood of the piece from warm and relaxed to cooler and more refined.
