FAQs

Is the Nodes Pivot Sconce hardwired or plug-in?

The Pivot Sconce variant is hardwired — it connects directly to your wall wiring via the cast canopy mount. There is no plug-and-cord option for this version. Make sure your electrician accounts for a wall backbox at the correct height before installation.

Can I use the metal disc or leave it off?

Yes — the horizontal metal disc is a design element that can be used or omitted entirely, giving you flexibility over how graphic or minimal the fixture reads in your space.

What finishes are available?

The Nodes Pivot Sconce is available in two finishes: Burnished Brass and Midnight Black. Both use a cast metal canopy and share the same milk glass globe diffuser.

Is this sconce suitable for bathrooms or damp areas?

No. The Nodes Pivot Sconce carries an IP20 rating, which means it is designed for dry interior environments only — living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, and dining spaces. It should not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any zone exposed to moisture or steam.

How far apart should I space multiple sconces?

For hallway or living space installations using multiple units, a minimum of 8–10 feet (approximately 2.4–3 metres) between each fixture is recommended to achieve a balanced spread of light without overcrowding the wall.
