The Visual Comfort Marielle Chandelier, designed by Sean Lavin, is a six-arm empire-form chandelier from Visual Comfort's Signature Collection. It carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry indoor environments — living rooms, dining rooms, entrance halls, and principal bedrooms. The classic empire silhouette is softened by dense vertical strands of matte white beads that drape the frame, giving a piece of traditional proportion a relaxed, artisanal quality.

The metalwork is finished in an antiqued gold with a hand-applied, weathered character — the kind of finish that reads as considered rather than decorative. The contrast between warm metallic tones and flat white beadwork creates a quiet visual tension that works across both contemporary and classically styled interiors. Suspension height can be adjusted at installation via the chain-link drop system.

Six S-curved arms extend from a wide central band, each fitted with a candle-style socket and matching antiqued gold sleeve to accept flame-shaped bulbs. Lamps are not included and should be specified separately — flame-tip LED candle bulbs in a warm colour temperature (2700K is typically a good match for this aesthetic) will suit the fitting well. Rated IP20, this chandelier is for indoor dry locations only. A circular ceiling canopy and matching suspension chain are included.
