The Loire is available in two metalwork finishes — Polished Nickel and Gild — each paired with a choice of Clear Strié or White Strié glass. Polished Nickel with Clear Strié offers a cooler, more restrained reading; Gild with White Strié delivers warmth and opacity for a more atmospheric effect. The four combinations allow the same form to serve quite different interior palettes, from contemporary neutral schemes to warmer, more layered interiors.

The Loire is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior locations. It is not appropriate for bathrooms or high-humidity zones without additional protection. Lamp and driver requirements should be confirmed at point of specification — Visual Comfort products in this family typically require a compatible bulb, which is not included.
