For a chandelier functioning as a primary ambient source, colour rendering index — or CRI, a measure of how accurately a light source reveals the true colours of surfaces and materials — is a meaningful specification point. At CRI 90, this fixture renders finishes, fabrics, and faces faithfully, which matters in residential dining rooms, hotel lobbies, and high-end hospitality settings alike. Light distribution is equally important: the vertically oriented fluted glass diffusers in this design throw light upward and downward while the ribbed surface scatters it laterally, softening the overall output into a warm ambient wash.

The Visual Comfort Langston Medium Chandelier, designed by Avroko for the Visual Comfort Signature Collection, brings a rigorous geometric sensibility to decorative lighting. Staggered horizontal bands support elongated biconical glass diffusers with fluted, vertically grooved surfaces — an arrangement that reads as both architectural and jewel-like. The plated brass hardware and clear glass create a warm, satin-toned composition with genuine material presence. CRI 90 light output supports the quality of finish that surrounds it. IP20 rated, this fixture is suited to dry interior environments.

The Langston is available in two finishes: Plated Brass and Plated Dark Bronze — offering flexibility across warm-toned and cooler, more dramatic interior palettes. The fixed-height rigid suspension rod and cylindrical ceiling canopy give the installation a clean, resolved silhouette from above as well as below.

This is an IP20-rated interior chandelier. It is not suitable for bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, or any zone where moisture ingress is a risk. Lamp and driver requirements should be confirmed at the specification stage — this fixture does not include lamps or a driver. Ensure ceiling structure and electrical rough-in are appropriate for a suspended multi-tier fitting prior to install.
