It means the fitting is protected against solid objects over 1mm and against water splashing from any direction. Two vertically oriented sockets are designed to hold elongated tubular filament-style bulbs — the exposed lamp is part of the aesthetic, not an afterthought — and the transparent panels allow unobstructed light to spread outward with warmth and clarity.

The design merges traditional lantern geometry with a considered industrial sensibility: clean lines, a matte Aged Iron finish, and tall slender bulbs that read as a deliberate decorative choice.
