The Visual Comfort David Art Light is a 24-inch wall-mounted picture light from the Visual Comfort Signature Collection, designed by Thomas O'Brien. Its elongated semi-cylindrical shade features a wide open base aperture for a broad, even wash of light across larger works. The reflective antique brass interior enhances light distribution, directing output efficiently onto the surface below. Rated IP20, it is suitable for standard indoor environments.

The David's defining quality is its two-tone character: a dark, tactile bronze shade body sits in deliberate contrast with warmer brass end caps — each hand-rubbed and subtly varied in tone, giving the fixture the kind of quiet individuality that bespoke pieces carry. The end caps wrap the shade ends cleanly, framing the central element and tying the composition together. It is available in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Antique Brass with Bronze.

The fixture mounts directly to the wall via a discreet centred rectangular backplate, positioning the shade at a considered offset from the wall surface to achieve the correct throw angle. As an IP20 rated indoor fitting, it is suited to living rooms, studies, hallways, and gallery-style spaces.
