It runs at 3000K with a CRI of 90, producing warm, accurate light that works with the architecture rather than against it. The dedicated LED is factory-installed and not user-replaceable with standard screw-based lamps.

The design is defined by extreme geometric minimalism: a square-section vertical column cantilevered forward from a flush rectangular backplate, with the light source recessed at the base and symmetrically at the top to cast light in both directions. The seamless, monolithic cuboid form reads as architectural detail in its own right. The smooth powder-coated matte black finish gives it a non-reflective, resolved quality that works against light render, dark timber, and stone equally well. The Chara Square is available in Small and Large sizes to suit different wall scales and mounting heights.

The fixture is designed for hardwired installation to a standard electrical box via the backplate, secured with a set screw to the wall bracket. The integrated LED means no separate lamp purchase is needed, but it is worth confirming driver requirements and any dimming compatibility with your electrician before installation — particularly if phase dimming or DALI control is part of your project.
