The Visual Comfort Arabelle Flush Mount, designed by Aerin Lauder, answers both sides of that equation. Its two-tier scalloped metalwork creates a floral silhouette with genuine sculptural depth — light spills downward through a frosted acrylic diffuser and outward between the tiers, producing a warm, layered ambience rather than a flat pool of light. The burnished silver leaf finish carries a handcrafted, slightly distressed texture that rewards closer inspection, while the geometric symmetry keeps it anchored in an Art Deco aesthetic. IP20 rated, it is suited to dry interior spaces including bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, and dining rooms.

The Arabelle is available in two finishes — Gild and Burnished Silver Leaf — and in two sizes. The Large measures 49.5 cm in diameter and takes four E14 candelabra lamps; the Small measures 34.3 cm across and takes three E14 lamps. Choose based on ceiling height, room footprint, and how dominant you want the fitting to read. As a rule, dining rooms and larger living rooms reward the Large; hallways and bedrooms often suit the Small.

Both sizes use E14 candelabra-base lamps (not included) and are IP20 Class I rated — suitable for standard dry interior locations only. The Large supports up to 4 × 40 W and weighs 5.9 kg; the Small supports up to 3 × 60 W and weighs 4.1 kg. Ceiling canopy diameters are 40 cm (Large) and 27.3 cm (Small). If you plan to dim, confirm your chosen E14 LED lamps are dimmable and compatible with your existing dimmer — phase-cut (TRIAC) dimmers are the most common domestic type and work well with most dimmable E14 LEDs.
