The Visual Comfort Andros Pendant is designed by Chapman & Myers as part of the Visual Comfort Signature Collection — a range produced in close collaboration with leading design figures and characterised by premium materials, hand-applied living finishes, and bespoke-quality craftsmanship. The Andros features a deep, clear glass bell shade with a single downward-facing open base, paired with antique-burnished brass hardware throughout: canopy, chain, and socket assembly. The elongated tubular filament bulb — selected to complement the shade's vertical proportions — sits visibly within the glass, making it central to the overall aesthetic.
The Andros is available in a range of finish and glass combinations across 12 variants, giving real flexibility for different interior palettes. Options include Polished Nickel and White glass alongside the antique-burnished brass and clear glass configuration, allowing the fitting to shift from warm and classic to cooler and more contemporary depending on the pairing selected.
The Andros is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior locations only — ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, entrance halls, and bedroom settings. It is not suitable for bathrooms or high-humidity zones. The pendant uses a lamped (replaceable bulb) format; lamps are not included, and we recommend a warm-white T-style filament LED to maintain the visual intent of the design. Chain suspension allows hanging height to be adjusted at installation. Please confirm ceiling height and desired drop before ordering.
