When the reflector geometry is right, the result is a wash of soft, even light with no bright spots or shadows — what lighting designers call diffuse ambient illumination. The dome profile is particularly effective here, bouncing light across its entire inner surface before it reaches the room.

The Stilnovo Reflexio Ceiling & Wall Light, designed by Mirco Crosatto, is built around exactly this principle. A concealed light source is positioned behind the outer perimeter ring, directing light inward onto a shallow, dome-shaped concave reflector. The dome glows softly and evenly, the source itself remains invisible, and the room receives calm, glare-free ambient light. Its IP40 rating makes it suitable for dry interior environments including living areas, corridors, hallways, and public spaces.

The Reflexio is a study in restraint — circular, low-profile, and sculpturally minimal. The painted metal body with a white interior maximises light distribution, while the overall form integrates cleanly into both residential and commercial interiors. It is available in two diameters (46 cm and 65 cm) and three finish combinations: White, White/Black, and White/Brown.

As a surface-mounted fitting, the Reflexio mounts flush to ceiling or wall without requiring a recess. IP40 means it is rated for dry interior use only — not suitable for bathrooms or covered outdoor areas.
