For linear installations, what matters most is horizontal spread, light quality, and dimming compatibility. The Quad addresses all three. Its branching frame distributes seven individual LED modules across a wide footprint, delivering diffused ambient light — soft, even illumination that washes the ceiling and spills gently into the space below. Phase-cut dimming means it works with widely available leading- or trailing-edge wall dimmers, the most common type found in residential and hospitality installs.
The Stilnovo Quad pendant, designed by Pio e Tito Toso, brings a geometric rigour to ambient overhead lighting. Seven square die-cast aluminium modules connect via angular arms in a branching configuration that reads as architectural rather than decorative — precise and intentional. The indirect LED output emits upward and outward, creating warmth and ambience without direct glare, making it especially well-suited to dining environments, hotel reception counters, and open-plan living spaces.
The design is monochromatic and minimal in profile — slim vertically, generous horizontally — with clean lines that suit contemporary and transitional interiors equally. The Quad is available in White or Black, allowing it to recede into a pale ceiling or assert itself against a darker surface.
The fixture is rated IP40, suitable for dry interior environments. LED light sources are integrated into the modules — characteristic of the slim panel format — and the fixture supports phase-cut dimming. Check that your specified wall dimmer is compatible with phase-cut (also called TRIAC) control before finalising the installation schedule. Height adjustment is possible via the three suspension cables during installation.
