Decorative wall lighting can be a surprisingly tricky specification call. Get the proportions wrong and the fitting disappears into the wall. Choose the wrong finish and it clashes with everything around it. The Anna addresses both problems with a design that is deliberately restrained — letting architectural form do the talking rather than competing for attention.
For a hardwired wall sconce like this, the key decisions revolve around placement, proportion, and finish coherence. A fitting with a strong vertical silhouette works particularly well alongside doorways, in hallways, or flanking a headboard — anywhere the wall itself benefits from a defined vertical accent. Because it is hardwired directly into the wall, there are no trailing cables to manage, and the clean mounting plate sits flush for a finished, considered look.
The Sikrea Anna Decorative Wall Light is a minimalist, metal wall sconce from the Italian brand Sikrea's Anna collection — a range that has remained in production precisely because its geometry holds up over time. The fixture features a slender vertical rod extending below a short offset arm and circular wall plate, all finished in a uniform brushed brass tone. A single spherical globe lamp sits at the top of the rod, completing a composition of contrasting forms: circle, line, and sphere in coherent balance. The fitting carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry interior environments.
The Anna's design identity is built around consistency — one metal finish, one clean geometry, no ornamental additions. That restraint is what makes it versatile: it reads as modern in a contemporary interior and quietly classic in a more traditional one. The structural components share a single brushed brass finish throughout, giving the fitting a cohesive, considered quality that rewards close inspection as much as it does a first glance from across the room.
As a hardwired fitting, the Anna requires a prepared wall connection point prior to installation. It is rated IP20, meaning it is intended for use in dry interior spaces only — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor locations. Lamp type and driver requirements should be confirmed at specification stage; the globe bulb shown is not confirmed as included and should be specified separately.
