Quintiesse Traipse Cordless LED Table Lamp

One of the most common frustrations in interior lighting is wanting a lamp somewhere there is no socket — a dining table centrepiece, a bedside shelf, a terrace corner — and having to compromise because of a trailing cable. It is a small problem that quietly limits how flexible and refined a space can feel.

Cordless table lamps solve this by housing a rechargeable battery and integrated LED light source within the lamp body itself. There is no wiring to plan around and no cable to hide. The lamp simply sits where you want it, is switched on at the base, and is returned to its charging pad when the battery needs topping up.

The Quintiesse Traipse Cordless LED Table Lamp is built around that premise. The integrated LED is recessed beneath a solid conical metal shade, directing a focused pool of light downward while keeping the source fully concealed from side views — a neat detail that adds to the lamp's clean, composed presence. An on/off switch is integrated into the base, and recharging is handled via a separate charging pad supplied with the lamp.

The silhouette is architectural without being cold — a slim cylindrical stem rises from a wide tiered base, proportioned to sit stably on a tabletop without occupying too much surface area. Small decorative ring collars at the stem junctions add a considered finishing touch. The lamp is finished in an oil-rubbed bronze, giving it warmth and character that works well in both traditional and contemporary interiors. Two variants are available.

Because this lamp is cordless and battery-powered, there are no driver, transformer, or wiring decisions to make — it arrives ready to use. The charging pad is included. The LED light source is integrated and non-replaceable, so the lamp is designed to be used as a complete unit throughout its service life. No IP rating is specified, so this lamp is intended for covered or indoor use rather than exposed outdoor environments. Quintiesse offers a general two-year guarantee, with three and five-year anti-corrosion guarantees available — note that these exclude locations within five miles of the coastline.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we include products like the Traipse because they solve a real specification challenge elegantly: placing light where it is needed without infrastructure. Whether you are furnishing a holiday villa, a boutique interior, or your own home, it is the kind of choice that removes complexity rather than adding it — and that is always a good specification decision.
