Quintiesse Sashay Brass Cordless Table Lamp

One of the quieter frustrations of table lamp placement is the cable. A beautiful lamp positioned exactly where it should be, trailing a wire across a nightstand or side table — it undermines the whole effect. The Quintiesse Sashay is designed to remove that constraint entirely.

Cordless table lamps are powered by a rechargeable internal light source rather than a mains connection. This gives you complete freedom in placement — no socket proximity, no visible cord — while the built-in dimming function means you can also control the mood, dialling the warmth up or down without additional hardware.

The Quintiesse Sashay Brass Cordless Table Lamp centres on a clear crystal globe intersected by a slender metal stem — a detail that reads as both structural and sculptural. The tiered, flared base grounds the piece with a confident traditional silhouette, while the translucent orb introduces a modern counterpoint. The metal components carry a polished antique brass finish, and a white hardback shade completes the form, diffusing light softly downward and outward to create localised warmth and ambience.

The design balances traditional and contemporary cues — an empire-style shade, a tiered brass base, and a clear geometric centrepiece that catches and refracts light. This is a lamp that rewards close placement: on a bedside table, a reading chair side table, or a console in an entrance hall where a power socket is inconvenient or absent.

The lamp is powered by a rechargeable bulb — no transformer, driver, or external wiring is required. Dimming is built in, making this a genuinely self-contained lighting solution. As a rechargeable unit, it should be charged according to the manufacturer's guidance to maintain battery performance over time.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work with products that solve real specification problems — and a cordless dimmable lamp with considered design is exactly that. Whether you are furnishing a villa bedroom, specifying for a hospitality project, or simply need flexibility that hard-wired fittings cannot offer, the Sashay earns its place in a well-considered scheme.
