Quintiesse Meandro Cordless Table Lamp

One of the most common frustrations with table lamps is placement. You find the perfect spot — a console, a bedside, a reading nook — only to realise there is no socket nearby, or trailing a cable would ruin the composition entirely. A cordless lamp solves that instantly.

Cordless table lamps use an integrated rechargeable light source rather than a mains connection. This means placement is genuinely flexible — no trailing cables, no compromise on position. Dimmability, usually a secondary concern, becomes especially useful here: adjusting brightness via a rechargeable lamp lets you tailor the ambience without touching a wall switch or a smart system.

The Quintiesse Meandro Cordless Table Lamp is built around exactly this freedom. Geometric metal forms in an antique brass finish rise and narrow along the body, clasping a disc of natural white alabaster at the centre — a stone prized for its translucency and subtle veining, each piece quietly unique. A white hardback empire shade sits above, and a rechargeable bulb powers the whole assembly. The fixture is dimmable, making it as practical as it is considered in its design.

The design contrasts materials with confidence: the warm gold tones of the brushed metal base and tapered connecting pedestals play against the cool, organic texture of the alabaster and the clean geometry of the conical shade. The stone appears almost to float between its metal supports — visually light despite the density of the materials. There are no finish or size variants listed for this model; what you see is a singular, resolved object.

As a cordless lamp, installation is straightforward — place, charge, and position as needed. No electrician, no conduit, no commitment to a single spot. The rechargeable element means occasional charging is part of the routine; check the manufacturer's guidance for charge duration and burn time to ensure it suits your use pattern. Quintiesse backs this lamp with a general two-year guarantee, and anti-corrosion guarantees of three and five years apply — though these exclude locations within five miles of the coastline.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work with products like this because they solve real specification problems elegantly. A lamp that removes the cable constraint opens up design possibilities that a conventional table lamp cannot. If you are unsure whether a cordless solution suits your project — or want to explore how it sits alongside your broader lighting scheme — we are here to help you specify with confidence.
