Table lamps are straightforward — until you need one somewhere without a convenient socket. Side tables in the centre of a room, outdoor terraces, bedside positions with no nearby outlet: a corded lamp simply doesn't work, and running cables across a floor is never the answer.

Cordless table lamps solve this by housing a rechargeable battery directly within the fitting. The key specification question is runtime and recharge ease — and here, Journey keeps it simple with an on/off button and a discreet battery-life indicator built into the base, so you always know where you stand.

The Quintiesse Journey Cordless Table Lamp is a portable, rechargeable table lamp with an integrated LED light source — meaning the light engine is built in, with no separate lamp or driver to source. Standing just over 500mm tall, it combines a slender brushed brass stem and downward-directing cone shade with a polished green marble sphere base that grounds the composition both visually and physically.

The design is defined by the precise geometric contrast of a sharp cone sitting atop a perfect sphere — industrial brushed metal meeting natural stone with distinctive white and dark green veining. Because no two pieces of marble are identical, each lamp carries a subtly unique character. The fitting is available in two variants, so it's worth confirming the option that best suits your scheme.

As a fully integrated, battery-powered fitting, Journey requires no mains wiring and no separate driver or transformer. The integrated LED is non-replaceable, which is standard for cordless lamps of this type — runtime and recharging details should be confirmed at point of specification to ensure they suit the intended use pattern.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we help you specify cordless and decorative lighting that genuinely fits your project — the right product, correctly matched to how and where it will actually be used, delivered with the lead-time awareness your project timeline needs.

FAQs

Does the Journey table lamp need to be plugged in to use?

No. It is a fully cordless, rechargeable lamp — no mains connection is required during use. Simply recharge via the base when needed. This makes it ideal for positions without a nearby socket.

What type of light source does the Journey use?

It uses an integrated LED — the light source is built directly into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. This is standard for cordless table lamps of this design and keeps the form clean and minimal.

Is the base really marble?

Yes. The spherical base is crafted from polished green marble with distinctive white and dark green veining. As a natural material, each piece is unique — no two lamps will look exactly the same.

Can I dim the Journey lamp?

The lamp features a straightforward on/off button on the base. Dimming capability is not confirmed in the product specification — if stepless dimming is important to your scheme, please confirm prior to ordering.

Is Journey suitable for outdoor use?

No IP rating is confirmed for this fitting, so it should be treated as an indoor lamp. For sheltered outdoor terraces, please confirm suitability with us before specifying.
