What does IP44 mean and where is this lantern suitable for installation?

IP44 means the fitting is protected against water splashing from any direction — suitable for exterior walls, covered porches, and open facades in most standard positions. It is not rated for direct rain exposure from above (such as a fully exposed roofline mounting without overhang).

Is the LED replaceable, or is it integrated into the fitting?

The LED module is integrated into the top housing and is not user-replaceable. It is factory-set to deliver approximately 800 lumens at 3000K (a warm white). This removes the need to source a compatible lamp, but means the fitting would need replacing at end of LED life — typically well beyond a decade of normal use.

Does this fitting come with a driver or transformer, or do I need to source one separately?
