Can the Poma table lamp be used outdoors?
Yes. The Poma carries an IP64 rating, meaning it is fully dust-tight and protected against water splashing from any direction. It is well suited to covered terraces, pergolas, and sheltered outdoor settings — particularly relevant in Mallorca's coastal and humid environments. It should not be exposed to direct rain or submersion.

What bulb does the Poma take, and is one included?
The Poma accepts a single E27 LED bulb (Edison screw — the standard bayonet-style screw fitting found in most homes). A bulb is not included. We recommend a warm-white LED for ambient, relaxed lighting, or a neutral white if you prefer a cleaner look. No external driver or transformer is needed.

Does the lamp have a switch, or does it need a wall socket with switching?
The Poma has an integrated inline thumb switch on the transparent power cord, so you can turn it on and off directly without needing a switched socket. It plugs into a standard outlet.

What is the shade made from, and is it genuinely sustainable?
The shade is handbraided from cord made using recycled plastic bottles — 38 metres of it per lamp — woven in a zig-zag technique over a metal internal frame. The electrical components are reinforced against corrosion to support the IP64 rating. It is a product designed with both environmental intent and practical durability in mind.

What colours and sizes are available?
The Poma is available in a wide range of cord colours. The shade diameter is Ø24 cm. Please contact Lightsource Mallorca or check current stock for specific colour availability, as the range may vary.
