Is the light bulb included with the Mariola floor lamp?
No — the Mariola requires one E27 LED bulb, which is not included. This gives you the freedom to choose your preferred colour temperature and brightness to suit your space.

What is the PMMA diffuser and what does it do?
PMMA stands for polymethyl methacrylate — essentially a high-quality acrylic. In the Mariola, it forms the flat top surface and acts as a light diffuser, softening the output from the bulb to reduce glare and spread ambient light evenly.

Can the top of the Mariola really be used as a side table?
Yes. The flat circular top is stable enough to hold small items — a book, a drink, a phone. It is one of the defining features of this design and a genuine space-saving benefit in compact rooms.

Is the Mariola suitable for outdoor or bathroom use?
No. The Mariola carries no IP rating, which means it is designed for dry interior environments only. It should not be used in bathrooms, outdoor terraces, or any area exposed to moisture.

Does the Mariola require a special dimmer or driver?
No driver or transformer is required — the Mariola plugs directly into a standard mains socket via its cord. If you want to dim it, ensure you pair it with a dimmable E27 LED bulb and a compatible wall dimmer or plug-in dimmer for your circuit.
