The Habe's shade is hand-braided using cord made from recycled plastic bottles — a material that handles the elements without compromising on texture or warmth. Inside the braided outer shade, a spherical diffuser softens the light source, producing ambient, shadow-dappled illumination rather than a harsh point of light.

The Ole Lighting Habe Floor Lamp is a plug-in decorative floor lamp from Spanish brand Ole Lighting. Its 25 cm diameter cylindrical shade is hand-braided using approximately 85 metres of cord — the equivalent of 28 recycled plastic bottles — and sits on a minimalist open-frame metal base. The result is a lamp that earns its place indoors or out, on a shaded terrace, in a reading corner, or anchoring a lounge arrangement.

The design pairs an earthy, tactile shade with a skeletal white metal wire base — a contrast that feels considered rather than accidental, blending industrial structure with textile-inspired craft. The Habe is available in two sizes (Small and Large) and across 14 colour options, making it straightforward to match an existing palette or introduce a deliberate accent.

The Habe accepts a single E27 LED lamp, which is not included. E27 is the standard large screw fitting common across Europe — any dimmable or standard E27 LED globe or filament bulb will work. The internal spherical diffuser means a standard globe bulb will distribute light evenly through the braided shade. No driver or transformer is required; this is a direct plug-in fixture. If dimming is important to your project, pair it with a dimmable E27 LED and a compatible plug-in dimmer or switched socket. The lamp carries a 3-year warranty.
