The Lucide Ruben is a decorative table lamp from Belgian brand Lucide, built around a slim square-profile metal frame forming a 22 by 22 centimetre open cube. The matte black exterior is balanced by a brushed brass cylindrical socket at the centre — a two-tone contrast that reads as quietly considered rather than showy. It is rated IP20, suitable for dry indoor locations.

Power is via a black cable cord with an inline on/off switch, making installation entirely plug-and-play — no electrician required. The lamp is not dimmable via a wall dimmer unless a dimmable bulb with its own dimming mechanism is used; check bulb compatibility if dimming is a priority. IP20 means it is suited to dry indoor rooms only — not bathrooms or outdoor use.
