Lucide Fabian Linear Pendant Light

Choosing a pendant for a dining table or kitchen island sounds straightforward — until you realise the length of the fitting, the drop height, and the light quality all need to work together. Get any one of those wrong and the result can feel too low, too dim, or simply out of scale with the space.

For linear pendants, the key decisions are spread of light, adjustable drop, and dimming compatibility. An open-cage design means no shade to interrupt the light output — bulbs distribute illumination in all directions, giving you warmth and atmosphere without dark corners. Dimmer compatibility lets you shift from task-level clarity at lunch to relaxed ambience in the evening.

The Lucide Fabian Linear Pendant is built around exactly these priorities. Its rectangular open-cage frame holds six lamp sockets in a single row, casting light across the full length of a table or island without obstruction. The drop is adjustable from 50 to 161 centimetres, giving you meaningful flexibility across different ceiling heights. It is rated IP20, making it suitable for dry interior spaces such as dining rooms, kitchen islands, and open-plan living areas.

Finished entirely in matte black metal — frame, canopy, and fittings — the Fabian has a clean industrial character with a contemporary edge. The coiled black power cable is a deliberate design detail rather than an afterthought, adding visual contrast against the straight suspension wires. Six clear glass filament bulbs (not included) complete the look, lending a warm, decorative quality that works equally well in minimal and more layered interiors.

The Fabian is compatible with a dimmer switch, allowing you to dial in the right level of light for any occasion. As an IP20 fitting, it is intended for dry interior use only. Bulbs are sourced separately — the exposed filament style shown suits E27 decorative lamps, though you should confirm the correct cap type and wattage for your chosen bulb before ordering.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we help you make the specification call with confidence — matching the right fitting to your ceiling height, your table length, and your dimming setup before anything is ordered. The Fabian is a strong, well-resolved choice at a sensible price point, and we can advise on compatible bulbs and dimmer switches to complete the installation cleanly.
