Choosing a pendant for over a dining table or kitchen island is one of the trickier decorative decisions in a project. Get the spread wrong and you end up with uneven pools of light; choose the wrong light source and you lose the ability to set the mood. The Lucide Cintra is designed to take that guesswork away.

For pendants with integrated LED sources, the key things to understand upfront are dimming compatibility and height flexibility. An integrated LED means the light source is built into the fitting — no lamp to replace or forget to buy. Dimmability here is built in, but you will need a compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer switch on your circuit to make use of it (check your existing dimmer or ask us if you are specifying from scratch).

The Lucide Cintra is a three-light linear pendant featuring three spherical acrylic shades with a deep-groove, diamond-faceted texture that refracts light in the manner of cut crystal. The integrated LED sources illuminate the shades from within, creating a multi-directional warm white ambience suited to dining rooms, living rooms, and bedrooms. Belgian brand Lucide engineered the fitting with brushed brass hardware throughout — canopy, cable fittings, and globe caps — giving the piece a contemporary warmth without veering into maximalism.

The overall shade diameter is 25 centimetres and the pendant is height-adjustable between 50 and 150 centimetres, making it genuinely adaptable to different ceiling heights and table configurations. There are no finish or size variants for this model; what you see is the complete specification.

The Cintra carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is suitable for dry interior environments only — living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms, but not bathrooms or covered outdoor areas. The LED source is integrated and dimmable; no separate driver or lamp purchase is required, but a compatible dimmer switch must be in place on your circuit. Confirm your dimmer type before installation or consult us during specification.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we help you match fittings like the Cintra to the right dimmer, the right ceiling height, and the right layout for your space — so the specification works in the real world, not just on a mood board. Whether you are designing a dining room from scratch or replacing a fitting that never quite delivered, we can help you get it right first time.

FAQs

Does the Lucide Cintra include bulbs or a separate lamp?

No separate lamp is needed. The Cintra has an integrated LED light source built directly into the fitting, so it is ready to use once installed and connected to a compatible dimmer circuit.

Is the Cintra dimmable, and what dimmer do I need?

Yes, the integrated LED is dimmable. You will need a compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer switch on your circuit. If you are unsure which type you have, we can advise during specification.

Can I use the Cintra in a bathroom or covered terrace?

No. The Cintra carries an IP20 rating, which means it is suitable for dry interior spaces only — dining rooms, living rooms, and bedrooms. It is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor areas.

How much height adjustment does the Cintra offer?

The pendant can be adjusted in height between 50 and 150 centimetres from ceiling to shade, giving you good flexibility across different ceiling heights and table configurations.

Are the acrylic shades actually glass?

No — the shades are high-quality acrylic with deep-cut grooves that replicate the look of faceted crystal glass convincingly. The internal LED illumination enhances the refractive effect further.
