The Lodes Spider Surface Ceiling Light is a compact, near-spherical luminaire with an angled aperture that directs the integrated LED beam off-axis, allowing precise accent placement without a separate tilt mechanism breaking the form. Made in Italy, Lodes is known for design-led products that take specification seriously — the Spider range is a clear example of that intent. The aperture features a recessed clear lens that controls glare and focuses distribution. It carries an IP20 rating, making it appropriate for dry interior zones. Two colour temperatures are available — 3000K (a warm neutral) and 2700K (a warmer, more intimate tone) — giving you meaningful choice depending on the atmosphere you're specifying for.

The housing is a near-seamless spherical shell — no visible screws, no decorative detailing, just a clean monolithic form that reads as an architectural element as much as a light fitting. The contrast between the matte exterior and the glossy recessed lens gives the aperture a considered visual focus. It is available in Matt Black, Matt Champagne, Terra, and Matt White, with seven variants across the range to cover the most common specification scenarios.

The Spider is an integrated LED luminaire hardwired for surface mounting. Confirm driver requirements and dimming compatibility at the point of specification — the adjustable diffuser angle means beam direction can be finalised on site, but electrical planning should be resolved in advance. IP20 rating applies to dry interior installations only; it is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.
