The Lodes Random Pendant, designed by Chia-Ying Lee and launched in 2017, is a blown-glass suspension lamp made up of three spherical diffusers — 18, 14, and 12 cm in diameter — clustered at asymmetric heights on slender metal wires. Each sphere houses a 1W integrated LED in a silicone seat at its upper section, emitting a soft, diffused light. With a CRI of 90 and a choice of 2700K or 3000K colour temperatures, it performs as well as it photographs. The fixture carries an IP20 rating, appropriate for dry interior environments.

The design evokes the lightness of soap bubbles — transparent, animated, and seemingly weightless. Slender metal wires and a thin chrome cylinder junction piece keep the hardware almost invisible, so the glass does all the talking. Random is available in four glass finishes — Clear, Frosted White, Glossy Bronze, and Glossy Smoke — and in both 2700K and 3000K colour temperatures, giving specifiers meaningful control over warmth and mood. Multiple pendants can be grouped into clusters for larger spaces or used individually above a dining table or reading zone.

The LED light source is integrated and non-replaceable in the conventional sense; the driver must be housed within the canopy, which is ordered separately. There are no external transformers or remote drivers to coordinate. IP20 rating confirms suitability for dry interior zones only — not bathrooms or covered outdoor areas.
