Designed in Italy by Lodes in 2014, the Puzzle range uses the inner face of its aluminium body as a reflective surface, amplifying the wash of light onto the wall behind it. The integrated LED source delivers a CRI of 92 — high enough to render wall textures, fabrics, and finishes with accuracy. Colour temperature is available in 2700K (a warmer, more residential tone) or 3000K (a cleaner, slightly cooler white). The Puzzle range is built around simple geometric forms — squares and rectangles — composed into three configurations: single square, double square, and rectangle with square. The double version (rectangle and square combined) houses two 15W LED sources for a combined 30W output, while single versions use a single 15W source. The asymmetric arrangement of the panels creates a sculptural object that sits almost flush against the wall, effectively disappearing into the surface when unlit. Two finish options are available: matte white and matte black.
The LED light source is integrated within the aluminium body, which is also engineered to assist with heat dispersion — no separate driver or lamp sourcing is required at point of installation, though it is worth confirming driver and dimming compatibility with your electrical contractor before specification.
