The Lodes Puzzle Single Square Wall Light is a surface-mounted decorative wall fitting designed for precisely this kind of ambient, architectural illumination. Designed in Italy by Lodes in 2014, the Puzzle range features an integrated AC LED light source housed within the inner face of the aluminium body — configured to direct light back onto the wall and amplify its reflection. The result is a soft, geometric wash of light rather than a focal point. Key specifications include: 16W integrated AC LED, 1750 lm at 2700K or 1850 lm at 3000K, CRI 92, MacAdam 3-Step colour consistency, and 220–240V operation. IP20 rated, suitable for dry interior locations.

The design language is deliberately restrained — two offset square planes in metal that read almost as wall sculpture when unlit. No visible fixings, no fuss. Available in Matte Black and Matte White, both finishes sit cleanly against contemporary interiors without competing with the architecture around them.

The Puzzle Single Square connects directly to a standard 4-inch J-Box (junction box), which simplifies installation considerably — no separate driver housing or external transformer is required, as the AC LED module runs directly from mains voltage (220–240V). IP20 rated, this fitting is suitable for dry interior zones only — living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and similar spaces. Net weight is 1.16 kg.
