With a CRI of 92, colours in the surrounding space are rendered faithfully and naturally. Lodes offers the Puzzle Round in two colour temperatures — 2700K for a warmer, more relaxed atmosphere, and 3000K for a crisper, slightly cooler clarity — so the ambience can be matched to the room's purpose.
The design is deliberately quiet: a single floating disc on a discreet rear mounting stem, with no visible bulk or hardware to distract from the light effect it creates. Used individually, it draws attention to a specific surface or feature; grouped in clusters, multiple units can build layered, ever-changing patterns of light across a wall or ceiling. The Puzzle Round is available in Matt White, Matt Black, and Champagne — a soft, warm metallic finish that sits comfortably alongside a wide range of interior palettes.
The LED is integrated into the fitting — no separate lamp purchase required. It connects directly to a standard 4-inch J-Box, making installation straightforward where a standard wall box is already in place. The fixture is rated IP20, meaning it is suited to dry interior spaces and is not designed for bathroom or outdoor use. At 17W and 1800 lumens, the output is well-suited to ambient and accent applications rather than primary task lighting. No external driver is required.
