The Lodes JIM Pendant is an Italian-made suspension lamp designed by Patrick Norguet in 2021. Inspired by the abat-jours — the workshop task lamps — of early 1900s ateliers, JIM balances immediate function with uncomplicated style. The bell-shaped metal shade casts a broad, directed pool of light beneath the fixture, while the translucent suspension hook serves as both a decorative accent and a considered material contrast at the fixture's connection point. Lodes manufactures in Italy, and the build quality reflects that heritage.

JIM is available in two shade finishes — Matt Black and Matt Champagne — each combinable with either a Honey or Grey suspension hook. This finish pairing system gives specifiers genuine flexibility to tailor the look to a scheme without overwhelming the selection process. The bell shade form sits within the wider JIM family alongside cone and cylinder variants, enabling coherent multi-pendant compositions across a single project.

The JIM pendant carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry interior environments — living rooms, dining spaces, hospitality settings, and retail interiors. IP20 means the fitting is protected against solid objects over 12mm but is not moisture-rated, so it should not be specified for bathrooms or covered outdoor areas.
