The IVY V addresses this directly through its dual-cable V-suspension system. Rather than dropping straight from a single canopy point, the two cables diverge from the power source and can be anchored anywhere on the ceiling via a small fixing element — giving you deliberate control over the luminaire's position relative to the architecture. The integrated LED module is built into the ring itself, so there is no separate lamp to source or replace; light is emitted downward through a narrow methacrylate diffuser (a frosted acrylic lens) that produces an even, rounded beam.
The Lodes IVY V is a geometric ring pendant designed by Vittorio Massimo in 2022. Its form is drawn from the image of a wedding ring on a necklace — a precisely proportioned toroidal ring in die-cast zinc alloy, suspended as a simple yet considered object. The integrated LED delivers even downward illumination through a methacrylate diffuser. The luminaire carries an IP20 rating, suitable for dry interior spaces.
The IVY V is available in three finishes — Matt Black, Matt Champagne, and Terracotta — and in two colour temperatures: 2700K (warm white, suited to residential and hospitality settings) and 3000K (a slightly crisper white, well suited to retail or workspace schemes). All surfaces are seamlessly finished with no visible fixings or joints on the ring body, preserving its graphic clarity. With six variants across finishes and CCT, specifying the right combination for the project is straightforward.
The IVY V is rated IP20 and is intended for dry interior use only — not suitable for bathrooms or covered outdoor areas. The LED module is integrated and made to measure; it is not a field-replaceable lamp. The V-cable configuration allows the ring to be positioned away from the ceiling derivation point, fixed via a small black metal ceiling element included with the luminaire. For multi-pendant installations, a dedicated canopy accepting up to 6 or 12 cables is available separately, enabling complex compositions from a single ceiling outlet.
