Table lamps often force a choice between atmosphere and function — you get a beautiful diffuser, but no real control over where the light actually goes. The Lodes Blow is designed to sidestep that compromise entirely.

Inside the glass envelope, a miniature directional light source is mounted on a slender adjustable arm. Crucially, that arm is repositioned from the outside using a magnet — no breaking the glass seal, no awkward internal fiddling. The result is directional task or accent lighting, fully enclosed within a soft ambient diffuser. CRI 90 means the light renders colours accurately, close to how they appear in natural daylight.

The Lodes Blow Table Lamp is an Italian-designed piece by Pio & Tito Toso, first realised in 2005. Its hand-blown glass diffuser — shaped like an oversized, organic light bulb — houses an integrated 4.5W LED on a chrome arm, rising from a circular chrome base. At 41cm tall with a 26cm maximum diameter, it has genuine presence on a desk, side table, or reading corner.

The form plays a deliberate contrast: the fluid, almost breath-like quality of the blown glass against the precision of the polished chrome internal mechanism. It is a lamp that rewards a second look. No finish variants are listed — the clear glass and chrome pairing stands as the defining expression of the design.

The LED light source is integrated and rated at 4.5W with a warm colour temperature, delivering CRI 90 performance. The lamp is rated IP20, meaning it is suitable for standard interior dry locations. No external driver or transformer is required. The 10cm chrome base provides a stable, compact footprint.
