Get the lamp type or finish wrong and the whole room feels slightly off. These decisions matter, especially when the fitting is as statement-led as this one.

For a decorative sconce, the key considerations are scale relative to the wall and surrounding furniture, the finish relationship to other metalwork in the room, and the lamp type — here, an E14 candelabra socket (a small Edison screw fitting, commonly used in decorative and chandelier-style fixtures). The faceted crystal elements — rectangular slabs at the centre, leaf-shaped forms fanning out at the top and bottom — are designed to refract light through multiple surfaces, creating a jewelled effect that shifts as you move through the space. The frame is polished metal, carrying that light-catching quality through the structure itself.

The Lloyd sconce is available in two finishes: Soft Brass and Polished Nickel.
