For ground-mounted outdoor lighting to work properly in a planted or loose-surface environment, the fixture needs a stable anchor with enough resistance to prevent movement in all directions. The In-Lite SPIKE is a metal ground spike accessory designed to anchor in-lite recessed ground lights securely in soil, gravel, or grass. Built from metal with a matte black finish, its cruciform (four-finned) lower section maximises surface contact with the surrounding ground — resisting both lean and rotation. A hollow cylindrical socket at the top receives the light fixture, while a dedicated cable exit notch at the base of the socket keeps wiring routed cleanly without being pinched during installation. The standard SPIKE is sized for all in-lite ground spots with a 60 mm diameter; the SPIKE 22 variant accommodates the 22 mm ground spot range.

The design is deliberately low-profile and discreet — the slim spike profile sits beneath the surface once pushed in, leaving only the light itself visible at ground level. Installation is simply a case of placing the fixture in the socket and pressing the spike into the chosen location; no tools, no fixing compounds.
