A fixed-height spike offers no room to correct that mistake once it's planted in the ground.
The solution is a telescopic mounting system that gives you room to adjust on site. Telescopic means the pole extends and locks at different heights, letting you fine-tune beam direction and coverage after installation rather than committing to a fixed position from the start. Pair this with a tiltable lamp head — as found on compatible SCOPE fixtures — and you have full directional control both vertically and horizontally.
The In-Lite RISER is a height-adjustable outdoor spike pole designed specifically for use with In-Lite SCOPE landscape spotlights. Made in the Netherlands by In-Lite, a brand with a strong track record in low-voltage garden lighting systems, the RISER extends from 35 cm to 53 cm, giving meaningful flexibility across different planting scales and ground conditions. The anodised aluminium construction — anodised meaning the surface has been electrochemically treated for enhanced corrosion resistance — is finished in black for durability in exposed outdoor environments including the harsh UV and humidity conditions common across Mallorca.
The design is clean and utilitarian: a slender black pole with a ribbed collar at the telescopic joint and an integrated grommet — a sealed cable entry point — that keeps the connector cable tidy and protected as it runs through the pole. A glass fibre reinforced plastic ground pin is included as standard, ready to drive into soil without additional components required.
Installation is straightforward: the ground pin pushes into place, the RISER slides and locks to your chosen height, and the SCOPE fixture mounts on top with the cable routed cleanly through the integrated grommet. No additional mounting hardware is needed beyond what's included.
