Which fixtures is the KILLFLASH compatible with?
The KILLFLASH is designed for use with In-Lite SCOPE fixtures. It is included as standard with the MINI SCOPE CEILING and SCOPE CEILING. For other SCOPE variants, it is available as a separately purchased accessory.

Is the KILLFLASH included with my SCOPE fixture?
It depends on the fixture. If you are specifying a SCOPE CEILING or MINI SCOPE CEILING, the KILLFLASH comes included. For other SCOPE fixtures, you will need to add it separately — we can confirm this at the point of specification.

Can the KILLFLASH be used in ground or upward-facing applications?
No. The KILLFLASH must only be used in wall or ceiling-mounted positions. In upward-facing orientations, water can collect and remain inside the honeycomb structure and fixture, causing potential damage. If your SCOPE fixture location changes during the project, flag this constraint to your installer.

How does the honeycomb louver actually reduce glare?
The tight hexagonal cell structure — known as a honeycomb louver — blocks light rays travelling at wide angles from the beam axis. This means the light source itself cannot be seen from the side, while light still passes cleanly in the intended direction. The result is a controlled, focused output with significantly less visual discomfort.

Is the KILLFLASH easy to remove for maintenance?
Yes. The KILLFLASH is designed to be straightforward to install and uninstall, so it can be removed for cleaning or servicing the SCOPE fixture without specialist tools.
