FAQs

What does IP55 mean, and where can I install this fitting?
IP55 means the luminaire is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is suitable for semi-exposed outdoor locations such as covered terraces, entrance walls, pergolas, and garden structures — but not for direct, sustained rainfall without shelter.

Is a driver or transformer included?
Yes. The Disc Wall ships with a 100–230V LED driver. You connect it directly to a standard outdoor power point — no separate driver or transformer is required.

Can I dim the Disc Wall?
Yes, it is dimmable. You will need a compatible LED dimmer switch, which is not included in the box. When specifying, confirm that your dimmer is rated for LED loads to avoid flickering or incompatibility.

What is CRI 98, and why does it matter outdoors?
CRI, or Colour Rendering Index, measures how accurately a light source shows colours compared to natural daylight — scored out of 100. A CRI of 98 is exceptionally high, meaning stonework, planting, timber, and facade materials will look as intended after dark rather than washed out or colour-shifted.

What fixings are supplied, and how is the fitting assembled?
The Disc Wall includes two metal screws, two masonry wall plugs, and an Allen key for assembly. The housing screws into the mounting plate, and the whole assembly fixes directly to a wall surface.
