Outdoor lighting projects often stall at the same point: choosing a fitting that looks right but turns out to be incompatible with the low-voltage system already specified, or one that simply won't survive the conditions it's installed in. Getting the system architecture right from the start saves costly rework.
The In-Lite DISC operates on a 12V low-voltage system — a safe, energy-efficient approach widely used in professional landscape lighting. Low-voltage systems are easier to extend, safer to install in soft landscaping, and simpler to maintain than mains-voltage alternatives. The DISC integrates cleanly into the broader DISC concept, which includes wall and hanging lamp variants, so a coherent scheme is straightforward to build.
The In-Lite DISC Floor Lamp is a 60cm standing garden lamp designed to cast a downward, diffuse light image — ideal for illuminating path edges, planting borders, driveways, and deck perimeters without harsh directional glare. Built from aluminium with an FCBV coating in Black, it is engineered for long-term outdoor exposure.
The design is characterised by a flat circular disc head on a slender stem — geometric and minimal, sitting quietly in a planting scheme or alongside a path without visual clutter. The matte black finish integrates naturally into modern exterior landscapes.
Installation is straightforward: the DISC comes standard with a fibreglass-reinforced ground stake for placement directly into soil, grass, or gravel. It can also be screwed to a hard surface without the stake, or used in combination with the separate ANCHOR accessory for alternative mounting. Note that this is a composite product and components are packaged separately. The system operates at 12V with a maximum circuit voltage of 21V — a compatible In-Lite transformer will be required if not already part of your system.
At Lightsource Mallorca, we work with products like the In-Lite DISC because they make specification decisions easier — the system logic is clear, installation is practical, and the results are consistent. Whether you are specifying a single garden path or coordinating a complete exterior lighting scheme, we can help you confirm transformer sizing, circuit loading, and compatible DISC concept components, so the project lands as intended.
