In low-voltage lighting systems, every connection between transformer, sensor, and luminaire needs to be reliable and system-compatible. Using a purpose-made extension cable — rather than a workaround — keeps the circuit secure, the connectors weatherproof, and the installation clean. The male-to-female connector design means it slots directly into the existing cable run without any additional tools or wiring.
The In-Lite CBL-EXT Extension Cable is designed specifically for use within the In-Lite low-voltage outdoor lighting ecosystem. It extends the distance between luminaire and low-voltage cable, or between light sensor and transformer, using moulded circular connectors with a ribbed grip for secure, tool-free connection. The all-black finish and flexible PVC jacket allow the cable to be routed discreetly through dark or shadowed areas during installation.
Available in three lengths — 1m, 2m, and 3m — the CBL-EXT can be used individually or combined to achieve the required run. The 1m and 3m cables together provide the maximum supported extension of 4 metres; the 1m and 2m cables combine for up to 3 metres. This flexibility means you can tailor the cable run precisely to your project layout without over-ordering.
Important installation note: the maximum supported cable distance between luminaire and low-voltage cable is 4 metres in total. Do not exceed this limit, as it is set by the system's electrical parameters. Cables are not interchangeable with non-In-Lite connectors — use only within the In-Lite system to maintain connection integrity and warranty compliance.
