Lighting a tree sounds straightforward until the beam is too narrow, the fixture sits too low in the planting, or water ingress causes failure mid-season. Ground-level garden spotlights need to work reliably in soil, through irrigation cycles, and across Mallorca's wet winters — and they need to throw light in the right direction from the moment they go in.

The In-Lite BIG SCOPE is a wide-beam outdoor ground spotlight from the Dutch brand's SCOPE range, designed specifically for trees up to approximately 6 metres in height with a broad crown. Its cylindrical metal head tilts within a U-shaped bracket to direct the beam precisely, and the pointed ground stake installs directly into soft soil. IP67-rated — meaning fully protected against dust ingress and temporary submersion in water — it is well suited to garden environments where irrigation and rainfall are a regular reality. CRI 91 ensures accurate, natural colour rendering across plantings.

The BIG SCOPE carries a compact, minimalist aesthetic with a matte black metal finish, designed to recede into the landscape during daylight hours. The light head adjusts vertically within its bracket for beam direction control after installation. Where plantings sit beneath the tree, the optional RISER or BRACE accessories raise the light source above ground-level plants. The KILLFLASH or SHIELD accessories can be added to prevent direct viewing of the light source from key sightlines.

The EASY-LOCK connector is supplied as standard, simplifying cable connection in the garden environment. The integrated cable exits from the rear of the head at 60cm in length.
