Hinkley Hampton 4-Light Chandelier

Choosing a chandelier for a dining room or double-height foyer involves more than picking a style — drop height, light output, and lamp compatibility all need to stack up before anything gets ordered. Get any one of those wrong and you're either re-ordering or living with a fixture that doesn't quite work.

For lamped pendants like this, the key decisions are drop range, lamp type, and dimming compatibility. The adjustable drop means the fixture can be set to suit ceiling heights from modest to dramatic. E27 is the standard screw-fit lamp format, widely available in a full range of LED options — and since this fixture is compatible with dimmable lamps, pairing it with a quality dimmable LED E27 and a compatible TRIAC or leading-edge dimmer (the type that controls mains voltage directly, suited to resistive or LED loads) gives you full atmospheric control.

The Hinkley Hampton 4-Light Chandelier is a four-light interior pendant from Hinkley's Hampton range. It centres on a minimal rectangular steel frame with a tall central linen drum shade and three shorter peripheral shades extending on horizontal arms — a tiered arrangement that reads as a contemporary take on a classic chandelier silhouette. Each shade is fitted with an acrylic etched bottom lens to soften and diffuse the light output. At 629mm wide and with a maximum adjustable drop of 2221mm, it's scaled for generously proportioned spaces.

The Hampton chandelier is available in Antique Nickel and Brushed Brass — two finishes that sit comfortably within both warm-toned and cooler interior palettes. The off-white linen shades and geometric steel frame give the piece a transitional quality: at home in a modern villa interior or a more classically influenced dining room.

Four E27 lamps are required but not included, with a maximum of 60W per lamp position. The fixture runs on 220–240V 50Hz. No driver or transformer is required — this is a direct-mains lamped fitting. Drop is adjustable between 737mm and 2221mm, offering good flexibility across ceiling heights. For indoor use only. A general 2-year guarantee applies, with warranty coverage of 1–5 years depending on application context.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we help you make these specification calls before anything arrives on site. Whether that means confirming the right dimmable LED lamp type, checking drop height against your ceiling, or coordinating delivery around your project programme — the goal is a fixture that works exactly as intended, first time.
