Hinkley Hampton Decorative Wall Light

Choosing a wall light for a bedroom, corridor, or living space often comes down to one tension: finding something that feels considered and soft in effect, without looking fragile or fussy. Get it wrong and the fitting either fights the architecture or disappears into it.

For wall-mounted decorative fittings like this, the key decisions are finish compatibility with surrounding hardware, the quality of light diffusion from the shade, and whether the proportions work at wall height. A drum shade in fabric softens and distributes light evenly, reducing hotspots and creating warmth — a deliberate choice over bare glass or exposed lamps.

The Hinkley Hampton Decorative Wall Light answers that brief directly. The minimal rectangular metal backplate and cantilevered L-shaped arm give it a clean, architectural silhouette, while the off-white linen drum shade softens the overall effect. A decorative acrylic etched bottom lens adds a further layer of diffusion. The transitional design sits comfortably in contemporary, urban, and more traditional interiors alike — a genuinely flexible specification choice.

The Hampton is available in two finishes: Antique Nickel and Brushed Brass. Both carry the same geometric precision of the metalwork, with the finish choice shifting the mood — cooler and refined with the Nickel, warmer and more tactile with the Brass. At H: 305mm × W: 171mm × P: 229mm, the proportions are considered for single-bedside or corridor placement without overwhelming the wall.

The Hampton is a hardwired wall light intended for direct wall mounting and a mains electrical connection — installation by a qualified electrician is required. A lamp is needed to complete the fitting; check internal shade clearance and maximum wattage before specifying your light source. Hinkley offers a warranty of 1–5 years depending on application context (indoor/outdoor, residential/commercial).

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work with design professionals, self-builders, and project owners across the island to match fittings like the Hampton to the right space, the right finish, and the right electrical setup — before anything gets ordered. That means fewer surprises on site and more confidence at the specification stage.
