Hinkley Celestial Pendant

Choosing a pendant for a principal room is rarely a simple decision. Scale, light quality, and visual weight all matter — and a fitting that looks right in isolation can easily feel disconnected once installed. The Hinkley Celestial is designed to resolve that tension, bringing material richness and considered diffusion into a single, cohesive form.

For decorative pendants, the quality of light output is as important as the aesthetic. A bare bulb inside an open shade creates glare; a diffuser softens and spreads it. The satin etched glass diffuser at the base of the Celestial does exactly that — controlling downward light output so the result is ambient and comfortable rather than harsh. The crinkle fabric drum shade adds a further layer of diffusion and visual warmth, alive with texture whether the light is on or off.

The Hinkley Celestial Pendant is a decorative ceiling pendant from Hinkley's Celestial range, designed in the United States. Its defining detail is a vertical column of three stacked optical crystal spheres set within a rectangular Cambridge Bronze metal frame — a jewel-like element that catches and reflects light from within the stem itself. The Cambridge Bronze finish provides a dark, grounded contrast to the translucent crystal and the soft off-white fabric shade.

The overall aesthetic sits at the intersection of modern and transitional — refined enough for a formal living space or primary bedroom, yet relaxed enough to work in a kitchen-diner or open-plan setting. The pendant is suspended on a metal chain, which allows hanging height to be adjusted at installation to suit ceiling height and spatial proportions.

The Celestial carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is suitable for dry interior spaces only — not for use in bathrooms or high-humidity environments. IP20 is the standard classification for living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, and hallways. Lamp and driver information should be confirmed at point of order; Lightsource Mallorca can advise on compatible light sources and dimming options to complete the specification.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we help you carry a decision like this through from selection to installation — confirming compatibility, coordinating lead times, and making sure the fitting arrives ready to go. The Hinkley Celestial is a product worth specifying properly, and we're here to make that straightforward.
