Feiss Drawing Room Chandelier

Choosing a chandelier for a principal room is rarely just about the light — it is about committing to a centrepiece that has to earn its place architecturally, not just decoratively. The risk is landing on something that looks right in isolation but feels wrong once installed: too casual, too fussy, or simply disconnected from the room's character.

For spaces with traditional or period-influenced interiors, the lighting needs to speak the same language as the architecture. Proportions, material quality, and decorative language all matter. A chandelier at this scale anchors the room, so the detail has to hold up at close range as well as from across the space.

The Feiss Drawing Room Chandelier is a six-light pendant designed for decorative ceiling-mounted ambient lighting in interior spaces rated IP20 — meaning it is suited to dry interior rooms such as dining rooms, entrance halls, and drawing rooms. The design draws on traditional British Edwardian architectural themes: overlapping arch forms, fluted detailing on both the pressed glass bowls and die-cast aluminium fitters, and fretwork elements that reference period architectural ornament. Six scrolled arms radiate from a central column, each supporting an upward-facing flared glass shade. Thin arched metal rods form a cage-like decorative superstructure above, capped with a tiered pointed finial. The overall effect is structured and considered — decorative without being excessive.

The materials are metal and glass throughout, with the metal frame carrying a multi-toned bronze finish and the glass shades presenting in a soft cream tone with frosted texture and a geometric fretwork band at the base. The combination of die-cast aluminium fittings and pressed glass gives the piece its weight and authenticity — this is not pressed-steel construction dressed up with ornament.

The chandelier is suspended via a chain from the central stem. It is rated IP20, confirming suitability for standard dry interior environments. Lamp and driver information should be confirmed at point of specification to ensure correct source selection and dimming compatibility for your project. The Feiss Drawing Room carries a two-year general warranty.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work with products like this because they resolve a real specification challenge: finding a traditional chandelier with genuine material and decorative integrity, not just period styling applied to a generic form. If you are coordinating a full room scheme or working across multiple spaces, we can support lamp selection, control compatibility, and project sequencing to keep your timeline on track.
