Choosing a statement pendant is one of the most visible decisions in any interior scheme. Get the proportions, finish, or style wrong and it dominates a room for the wrong reasons. The Elstead View Point is a fixture that earns its place — but it helps to understand what you are working with before specifying it.

This is a decorative indoor pendant — sometimes called a small chandelier — designed primarily for ambient illumination and visual impact. It carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is suited to dry interior spaces only: living rooms, dining areas, hallways, and bedrooms. It is not suitable for bathrooms or any area exposed to moisture.

The Elstead View Point Chandelier is a three-light open-frame pendant from the British brand Elstead Lighting. Its diamond silhouette is formed by four upper arms in a textured whitewash wood-effect finish — painted metal, not actual wood, which means it is more durable and consistent than the real thing — meeting four angled lower bars in a weathered brass finish. Decorative brass caps secure the joints, and a central weathered brass stem positions three candelabra-style lamp sockets. The open-cage geometry allows light to radiate freely in all directions, creating warmth and atmosphere across the room rather than a single focused pool.

The View Point leans into a rustic-modern aesthetic: the angular diamond geometry gives it a contemporary edge, while the whitewash and vintage brass palette keeps it grounded in warmth. It works well in relaxed Mediterranean interiors, coastal homes, and any space where you want a focal point that feels considered rather than showy. The fixture is suspended by a weathered brass chain from a loop at the apex of the frame.

Lamp type is candelabra-style (E14 base is typical for this fitting style — confirm at point of order). Lamps are not included. Elstead carries a general 2-year warranty on this fixture. The IP20 rating confirms this is a dry-room fitting only — keep it away from bathrooms and covered outdoor areas.

FAQs

Is the wood-effect finish actually wood?

No — and that is a good thing. The whitewash wood-effect finish is applied to a metal frame, giving you the rustic aesthetic of washed timber with the durability and consistency of powder-coated metal. No warping, no fading unevenness.

Where can the View Point Chandelier be installed?

The View Point carries an IP20 rating. IP20 means it is protected against solid objects but has no water resistance, so it is suitable for dry interior spaces only — living rooms, dining areas, hallways, and bedrooms. It is not suitable for bathrooms or any moisture-exposed area.

What type of lamps does the View Point use?

The fixture has three candelabra-style lamp sockets, typically E14 base fittings. Lamps are not included. Confirm the exact base type and maximum wattage at point of order, and we can advise on suitable LED options if needed.

Does the View Point come with a chain, and can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes — the fixture is suspended by a weathered brass chain attached at the apex of the frame. Chain length can typically be adjusted at installation. Confirm the available drop range with us before ordering if ceiling height is a constraint.

What warranty does the Elstead View Point carry?

Elstead provides a general 2-year warranty on this fixture, covering manufacturing defects. As your specification partner in Mallorca, we can support warranty queries throughout your project.
